Just Like God
Isaiah 55:8 says God doesn't think the way we do. His thoughts are higher. He told Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac. He told Hosea to marry a prostitute. So it wasn't out of character when He said start a church...in the middle of a global pandemic! Isn't that just like God?
Glory House began as Life Center International East, a church plant of Life Center International Ministries led by Apostle Terrell Murphy. After years of serving at LCI in various roles, including director of the Christian Education department, and as a member of the eldership, Marquis was given the responsibility of pastoring the new church plant. A core group from LCI was assembled who would become the founding members of the church plant. The new group met online twice a week, but continued to attend and serve at LCI on Sundays.
A Bold Move
It was a bold move to launch a ministry at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, but God is used to doing incredible things! After a year of meeting online, LCI East officially began in March 2022. Over the next two years, the ministry met and overcame many challenges and began to develop its own unique identity and culture while holding true mission and vision of LCI. It was during this time that the Lord began to reveal to Pastor Marquis the vision of Glory House.

Why Glory House
In 2024, LCI East entered a period of transition. It was a prophetic season of open doors, and the Lord laid it on Marquis' heart that part of the shift included changing the name of the ministry. Following several conversations with his spiritual father, Marquis began seeking God for a new name. There was silence for over 60 days, but the Spirit of the Lord led Marquis into a deep study of the glory of God in the late spring of 2024. Over the course of the summer, the Lord confirmed the name Glory House three different ways and the name was officially changed.

Our Purpose
GLORY HOUSE WORSHIP CENTER EXISTS TO BRING GLORY TO GOD. WE LONG TO SEE THE CHURCH, THE BRIDE OF JESUS, BECOME THE MATURE BODY OF BELIEVERS IT IS MEANT TO BE. WE BELIEVE IN THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD AND TAKE SERIOUSLY THE CHARGE TO LOVE GOD & LOVE PEOPLE.
